Default stutter at start up

when i went to start the car after it had sat for 20-30 mins in the direct sunlight 30degressC it wouldn't start properly first time, has been fine since.
any ideas???

doesnt sound like an issue

either hot ignition coil

or fuel pump not pumping


or screwed starter motor

id go for a coil fault

happens to mine sometimes too, warm or cold. no idea whats causing it, but its a 13 year old engine in my car. also when starting from cold one of the belts whines like **** for a few seconds when setting off, embarassing when at work lol. may need a new air con or alternator belt.

Try priming the fuel pump for several seconds.
Turn the ignition on and listen for the pump whine. When it stops whining then fire it up and see if it makes a difference.

am glad you said that butty coz i had a feeling that each time it didnt start properly i switched then engine on straight away instead of waiting, thats proberbly wot it was cheers matey
