I saw a demo of this fuel at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
If my memory serves, the Porsche had a base line of 317BHP on super unleaded which rose to 359 on Super 102.
13% increase seemed quite significant but at the quoted £2.42/litre it seemed very expensive. Luckily, there were no outlets near me.
When is Shell Super V coming?

this is what ticks me off, fuel is expensive enough as it is, then they bring out a ridiculous Ron fuel for the "road" and people buy it totally undermining us other regular road goers who complain about £1.00 a litre when these lot are willing to pay £2.50 odd !!!!!!!
why not just give them a £100 tip at the same time, or chuck £100 at the bus stop

Now, just think. The only power gain high octane gives is at full throttle and high rpm.
How often do you use full throttle?
Not that often, you say?
Oh dear, what a waste then

By whilst I'm at it, encouraging the likes of BP to flog hyper expensive fuels (by buying it), is probably not a good idea in the the long run.

Good for track days maybe ??
But I guess octane booster may be cheaper.
Plus the ECU will 'eventually' detect the higher grade fuel, and adjst accordingly ? ?
Just my two pennys worth.

You must be getting a lot of pocket money then!
Seriously though, what's the point, especially when it's 30 degrees outside and your cars not running at full chat anyway?
This stuff is for serious track day action. I remember someone on here saying that they were so impressed with this 102RON because it made there car 'run so smoothly'......smoothly, I'd expect vertical take off and landing for £2.30 a litre!!!
