Lucozade
right well, as you may or may not have noticed, on the side of lucozade bottles, it says something to the effect of :
"this drink is not suitable for replacing the fluids lost during diarrhea"
having a crap is not really so energetic that it would make you think ooh i could really do with a lucozade right about now. unless it was a touch and go desperate situation that meant you had to do a 400 yeard dash to the nearest toilet or something like that. then maybe ok, i fancy a lucozade now.
i have always wondered why, so ive sent an email to lucozade to find out, as follows :
dear lucozade,
lucozade is my favourite drink, except the lemon flavour. i drink it often, and would drink it more often if it werent for my chronic diarrhea. my life partner often remarks on how dry i feel after an episode, and i would like to know why lucozade of not suitable in these situations.

im sure you are all eagerly awaiting the answer, as am i

Here's what they said...
Dear *****,
Thank you for your recent enquiry regarding Lucozade.
Lucozade is a high energy drink which is palatable to healthy individuals and during illness and convalescence.
Lucozade is not a suitable drink during episodes of diarrhoea. During diarrhoea a great deal of fluid and electrolytes (particularly sodium) are lost from the body. Because Lucozade is a high carbohydrate energy drink and contains relatively low levels of electrolytes, it is not suitable for fluid and electrolyte replacement. Therefore, it is not recommended during diarrhoea and for this reason we have added the statement to the labels.
Thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Now you all know why not to drink lots of lucozade when you've been on the toilet for a week

LMFAO.
How random.
You could add electrolytes to lucozade to make it ok to drink after diarrhoea.
We often send our animals home with few sachets of electrolyte incase they dont eat its just rehydrates your body quickly.

a diaoralyte sachet (from pharmacist) mixed with water is what you need to drink, it has all the right electrolytes etc though it doesn't taste as good as Lucozade

Polo's can act as a laxative. The urban rumour, as I understand is that due to the laxative effect, if a woman was on the pill it can get through the system too fast and not be effective.
Therefor too many polo's make you pregnant
