Default tax disk....

...managed to drop one of the damn fiddley allen screws on a richbrooke taxdisk holder, straight into trim somewhere never to be found again

Im sure others must have done this stupid thing!! any place to buy them or is it new tax disk holder time?

I`m sure you can get a "spares" kit that contains an allen key, screws and the clear sticky pads. No doubt Halfrauds will sell them.

yeh, we dont have places like that in the channel islands, thats the problem!

halfords want 3.99 and then 2.99 to post it. 7 quid for one tiny screw!!! tight buggers!!

yeh max speed limit here is 35 as well!! thats enough to drive (ha ha) anyone crazy!!

even on that long straight road down the west coast?- the one that ends in a sort of twisty up and over bit near the southern end. When we were on holiday in 1994, we did at least 60 in the old Truimph Acclaim along that bit and often saw a few boy racers about - and I bet that's where all the speedsters still go when they think there's no one much around.

Anyway, about the Richbrook Spares set, you must surely have some sort of motorists shop in St Helier that could order it in for you.

you know too much!! Its the up hill twisties i like just as you turn east from the west coast road!
