Tyres
Sorry if this has been asked loads of times before. I need a new set of tyres for my classic (215 40 17) and was wondering where the best place to get tyres is. Obvioulsly i want to get them for as cheap as possible but still get a decent brand of tyre. Thanks

My Tyres is a pretty good site.. Make sure you know someone who can fit the tyres for a good price first though, or you will end up paying just as much as you would if you sourced the tyres from a decent fitter..
Oh and they come from Germany so take a little while.
We bought some Star Performer UHP's from Mytyres, great bargain sports tyres.
Kuhmo's 712's are decent budget performance tyres too.. very soft compound like Toyo's but alot cheaper.

Had Toyos on my classic still had 5-6mm after 5000 miles... outside edges wear down a bit but that's roundabouts for you.

blackcircles I got Toyo proxes T1-r £300 for four fitted balanced and vat at a garage near to me! But you do need to phone them for a better deal.
