Legacy 3.0R Spec B

Legacy 3.0R Spec B
Hi all,
Don't see too many posts about these, so I may be knocking on the wrong door, but at least I know I'll get some pointers hopefully.
I'm currently driving an Octavia vRS which I'm looking to replace with something new this year. Someone suggested a Legacy 3.0R Spec B as I need it to be reasonably big to carry the family around, but I'd also like it to be a lot quicker than my current car.
As the Legacy only has 30bhp more than my car (JabbaSport remap to 216bhp) I am trying to find out if it is possible to remap the car to make it an even more attractive proposition. I couldn't find any references to any official Prodrive packages for it, so I assume that it is not possible?
Thanks,
Q.

Thanks so far. So a Spec B is not my best option if I want more ponys. Am not sure about imports with new cars (regarding warranty issues, etc), but as I'm looking for a year, 2 year old car I suppose that matters a lot less. Do mainstream dealers have any problems servicing those imports? With regards to parts, etc? Or is it only suitable to be serviced by specialists?

Most main dealers will shake their heads and say "no way sonny!"To any type of import, But there are so many specicalist garages out there there that really need not be a problem.....

B4 twin scroll has 343Nm at 2400 RPM. Higher compression than the Impreza, smaller turbo as well?
Spec B as std is a nice "normal" car, not especially quicker than my wife's old vRS. Guzzles fuel in comparison though.

Are these up to a 30K miles a year life? What are service intervals like for them? I suppose I should have a good look at the uk legacy forums as posted above. Any recommended specialists near Aylesbury?

Have you considered a Forester STi, plenty of space and rapid into the bargain, see below.

Don't pay main dealer prices, these things plummet like a stone.
Great engine, chassis, interior, but the dealers are mostly crap and the plastics inside soon get creaky.
I've had nothing to really complain about in 32k miles, just the depreciation.
