Unhappy

After spending £159.00 on a new tyre on Friday(due to unrepairable puncture, surprise surprise!!)
Going through endless amounts of metal dust caps(due to theft)
This morning I've found a dig/scatch on my front wing.

I'm feeling depressed,should I buy a car for £100 and not give a
to55 about it?
UK300 4k miles any offers?
somebody give me a cuddle, please

Stick with the plastic dust caps. Get in the car, go for a drive, smile.
Sh*t happens, and it's depressing at the time. But lets face it, driving the car is worth it in the end. I've driven so many pants repmobiles, and in the end the scoobs worth all the bother.
Hugs (in a manly kind of way)
Chuck

Jason, let's put things into perspective:

Go for a great drive. Then come back and...

Take all your dustcaps off
unbolt your spoiler
sellotape spice girl posters to your doors

...and go for your drive again, same route, same effort.

Write down, in your own words, the difference between the two. Do not include people staring at your spice girl posters. I suspect you won't be writing much.

Lisbon has some of the worst drivers in history, and the kids take car-keying as a national sport. I hope to get a Scoob here, and I am going to let it get scratched to hell. I won't buy big spoilers, morettes, coloured valve caps, tinted windows, different alloys. Because I bought it to drive, not to look at! (Pig ugly anyway.)

Is it worth it? Well, how many other people do you know who want a car like yours? I suspect most of them!

Chin up mate, life's not so bad

Cheers People, I'm feeling better now.
It can always be worse, like being attacked in the street for no
reason.
A scratch on car can be fixed but a punch on the earhole hurts!!

I'll try not to feel sorry for myself again (over a car anyway)

Think of this as a big hug together.

Have reported my incedent to the police, recheck the thread for their response. Lets just say they will not be putting any man hours into caring for public saftey.

Lifes a bitch, don't give up the car, give it to me I need cheering up. I am not going to stop walking from the station to work, rise above it. Walk arm in arm with your neighbourhs, show them you will never conceed. ARRGH I am going Delirous. HELP ME!

Keep smiling today could be your last.

I've got plastic dust caps. But those who like anodised ones say that they use threadlock and a small adjustable to notch them on tight enough. I know you want to check the tyre pressure now and again, but it's still worth it.

The thing about keying is, like all vandalism, it's just pointless and thoughless.

Yeah I can post a link to some metal caps which can be 'bolted' on - ie can't just be screwed off if you like!

I know how you feel. Someone hit the back of mine on the fourth day I owned it. Anyway, a girlie cuddle from another UK300 owner and hope you feel better soon. Jen
