it was about an hour and a half ago??? 4:15pm sunday 28th Oct.
i'm in Nottm, most around the city felt it!!
did you?????????
i was standing in the kitchen and i felt the floor vibrate, and the ceramic cheese dish and cover rattled and that was on the microwave! that sort of thing, lasted a few seconds, i thought the feeling was like some one pulling a concrete grass roller round the path of the house, it sounde like that too.

I didn't know there were quakes in the UK. I felt one here in Greece on Friday 26 Oct at 4.35pm. It was a 4.9er about 100km from where I'm at. It felt like someone was pushing the back of my lounge chair wanting me to get up.

Im well chuffed i read this post cause at 4.30 i was having a dose when i heard this almighty bang - I ran to the window expecting to see a lorry ripping my garage door off and some **** running in to nick my scoob!!!!(Paranoid) - at least it was only an earthquake then and nothing serious!

I believe that in the 1700's Chichester Cathedral spire collapsed due to an earthquake (and you really needed to know that)
And in NZ there's usually an earthquake every couple of weeks - from 5.0 - 6.5 on the Richter scale (and NZ House keep very quiet about this when naive Poms go for their immigration visas)

Certainly did, I rushed into the kitchen as I was cooking sunday dinner (first time) as the misses was busy with the new born, I thought I had blown the kitchen up.

I was driving around the Castle Donnington/Melbourne area at the time and never felt a thing, I must have been airborne then
