Default buying advice

erm just a quick one really as im thinking of getting a uk turbo now.......which is hopefully sooner rather than later if i get my car sold.

anyway i have foudn this car locally at a garage.......p reg uk turbo with a splitter 93k miles

Seems expensive mate. I bought my 98 s reg uk turbo with 60k on the clock for 5K.

Very expensive mate, I just sold a 96 UK turbo wth full service history and similar miles for £3,800

as far as i was aware the majority of insurance companies will insure drivers over 21 on impreza's.maybe a few lucky people before 21..

UK turbos are group 17 I think. STI's (UK) are group 20.

Either way your gunna be stung.

i would say you will be looking to pay atleast 1k....

so i would put £1500 a side already...

even if that Turbo 2000 was 6k then minus 1500 for insurance leaving you with 4500...you can def get a decent WRX all day long for that money...and prob even a V2 STi....

i have insurance quotes thanks

went to see a few cars today and that p reg one is a bit of a shed in all honesty......

im looking at wrx imports but i want a blue uk turbo ideally (just personal choice)
