Hullo all
Just bought first scooby (97 wagon turbo 2000). Bit of a revelation really - can't stop driving it! Pearls of wisdom on hints/tips on ownership (anything!) would be good
Otherwise - hello and great forum, already helped me out sourcing a radiator and answered questions about alternator belt.

Welcome to SNet
Glad you're enjoying your new motor, now the modding begins Still, everything's only £50, or so she thinks
Keep below 6k revs, don't be tempted by shiny dump valves and induction kits, modify the brakes and suspension first and research power mods wisely.

Give it plenty time to warm up eg 5 or 6 miles. Just because the water temp. guage is up to temperature does not mean the oil and block are warmed through. Drive it off boost for the last couple of miles before switching it off. No need for a turbo timer. Save your money.
If you plan any mods, get a boost guage and Knock Link BEFORE you start and drive the car with these in advance of any mods.
