Stupid Mistake!!
Had my car crashed into 3 weeks ago!, my insurance company (Privilege) advised that the car would be picked up within 24 hours for repair... and a hire car would also be provided
Later on that afternoon, the 3rd party insurance company phoned me up, asking if they could take over the claim.. Great (it saves all the paper work)
My car has just gone into the Garage today for the repair (god knows when it will be repaired)
To make matters worse the 3rd party insurance company are now moaning about the price of the hire car... they have now directed me to enterprise (cheap option) and they wants deposits etc before I take the car away..
So its going to be 6 weeks without my new car (only covered 470 miles) and still waiting for a hire car
Should i tell the 3rd party company to **** off and go back to priv?
rant over

Don't worry Privilege wouldn't do a much better job. They would have probably taken your car away for a week or so and do a half arsed job of repairing it, return it to you, then leave you having to chase them around to get it done properly whilst all the time try and make it seem like you're the one trying to pull a fast one
Not that I'd know or anything, never again

You do realise if you are not happy with the work done by the contracted body shop you can refuse the car.
