Unusual request for a pic........?
Hi, firstly was the newage MY03 WRX ever shown at the British motorshow? If so has anyone got a pic of it (or them) on display???
It's a long shot but here seems a good place to ask.......if it was displayed i'm sure some of you guys would have taken pics??? Thanks Al.

This is only hearsay i shall add...........it may be utter rubbish, if anyone had the VIN then that would be something.
My 03 blobeye WRX was registered 8th Nov 2002 and is a PPP.I believe it's a very early one???
It was originally registered/ owned by Subaru (UK) LTD at their HQ??
Address says;
Subaru (UK) LTD.
Great Bridge,West Bromich,West Midlands,B70 OES
Selling Dealer is Subaru (UK) LTD
Subaru Broadwell,Ryder Street,West Bromwich,West Midlands.
Dealer No; 81301
Just curious to know more that's all.If somebody has an earlier one then when was yours registered. Thanks Al.

As my car was registered on the 8th Nov it is possible it may have been there.I wonder if Subaru UK would help?

Just been on the phone to Subaru UK LTD and after some lengthy digging around it has been confirmed that it is the very car at the 2002 motorshow.
Doesn't make it worth anymore i guess but a nice bit of interesting info for me.

my 2003 blobeye was registered dec2002 and ive seen it featured in many magazines as a review car before the blobeye was released
ive got alot of the magazines it dont help the value but its something to talk about i guess
so its really comforting to know its been thrashed from cold from its early days by a bunch of journalists who want to see how well it goes

I'm at this moment looking into the PPP that is fitted as i've been told the car was used/fitted by Prodrive themselves.Subaru UK are confirming this then if correct, they will send me out a certificate..............we shall see!
On a negative note..............my car is currently at APi having a complete engine rebuild. Due to a knocking number 3 big end!
I wonder who owns the STi on display at the same NEC show??

but since the day the warrenty ran out ive heard all sorts of strange noises coming from the engine
