Impreza used as a weekend car???
Right guys,
Ive bought myself a cheap run-a-bout (place of work is a SH@T hole!) to help keep the mileage/running costs/wear and tear down on my 94STi. So now my car sits on the drive-way waiting for the weekend to come . My question is that is it ok to leave all week then start it up or should i start it up during the week and leave it ticking over until warmed up?

Mines a WRX 55 and I normally give it a bit of a blast midweek because when i left it in the garage unused for a week the battery went dead. When Subaru assistance arrived they started it with a booster and advised me to drive with side lights on. Something to do with the car not charging the battery sometimes because it don't recognise a drain. Might have worded it wrong but someone might correct me!

No point me getting a weekly run about as i only work three miles from home.
God only knows what mpg i get as the car never really reaches temperature during the week, therefore always ran off boost.
Come the weekend though i can drive my car as it should be......

Yeah, I drive my wifes Ford KA, during the week for work.
Embassing when seen in it though, I get the urg in the week to give a blast though.
Leave mine all week undriven sometimes, never had starting problems!!!
