Smile Good quality mats - Newage.......

Hi,

I am fed up with the poor quality of the genuine Subaru mats for a newage WRX

Anyone got any suggestions/experience of any alternatives. After a neat descete logo, nothing big and bright!

Anyone know when/if Prodrive will be making them for RHD Newage?

Cheers!

Yes they are the ones.

I returned the first set after a hole wore through (6 mth/4K miles). The dealer said that they are always replacing them for the same reason! Second set now doing the same!

Must admit, look good though...

I dont understand how ppl go through mats so quickly!!
I've had the above Subaru mats for a year now, done around 8K and still look like new!!

Do I change gear differently or brake funny or something??

I've had my mats 4 months (Subaru WRX) and mine are starting to look a bit worn around the heel area. I think i'll get hold of some alluminium heel plates and attatch them with 4 rivets. Some boy racers shops bound to sell them.

After speaking to Mike Wood (Prodrive), it seems that the hold up for Prodrive Newage mats is with Subaru. If enough of us want them, then they may go ahead.

Anyone else interested in Prodrive mats for Newage?

Cheers!

No promises, but I will find the best way of hounding the relevent person in Subaru, then suggest that anyone interested should do the same.

Will post progress!

Has anyone bought mats from Auto Style or Justmatz?

It would be handy to see photo of the logo etc (WRX) if anyone has a set.

Thanks.

done around 8K
There's your answer. In 12 months I'd have done 24K and the mats would be knackered. I simply took them back for another set under warranty. All parts come with a 36m/60K warranty, just like the cars.

Cheers
