Default Pheasant Plucker!

On the way home yesterday a pheasant crossed the ride directly in front of me - in fact he did everything he possible could to make sure I hit him - must have has a death wish!
Anyway I surveyed the damage and was horrified to see that he had torn a chunk out of my Scott Lowe lip spoiler on the way to his death! Oh well - new lip spoiler I thought as I drove to work today. However, the damage must have been worse than I thought because suddenly a huge chunk of my front spolier sailed off the car and under white van man (because of couse he was nailed to my bumber as always).
So the moral of the story is that pheasants are better shot than run over!

They seem to have a habbit of jumping at moving objects??

I had one ricochet off a set of bullbarts at 60mph, it kind of exploded all over the windscreen/bonnet and made a great noise!

Yeah me too! Hit the windscreen and showered me in glass fragments. Knocked the mirror off aswell as scaring the crap out of me. Maybe there is more honour in being killed by as scoob as he stayed in the bushes as 3 trucks and a saab went past then chose my car. I was about quarter of a mile behind and closing. Bloody thing comes out of a bush right in front of me flapping away but the fat knacker didn't have the airspeed to climb. I could see the bugger floating there as I was braking and praying it would just skip over the car. They are heavier than you think!

Heavy - the one I hit must have been a right fat pie scoffing ba*tard - he's cost me around £400!
Worse still is the fact that my Mrs has spent the whole week gloating...'well if you will insist on buying these silly cars....it would never have happened to my Freelander.....'

got a mate who's got a load of sheep. foxes kill a good few of his lambs each year. i like foxes but i do think their numbers need to be kept down. but NOT by using dogs. cant beat a good roasted pheasant with all the trimmings. mmmmmmmmm

p.s dont use the scooby to kill a willey old fox either. you will need a bank loan to fix the damage one of them causes.

The only thing that has stopped me killing stray pheasants is BMW's DSC, EBD, brake assist and ABS

Killed a fox with a merc sprinter 316. Hit it at speed on the m90 at about 2am. Drilled a perfect fox shaped hole through the bumper. The fox sort of vaporised aswell apart from some fur and bone fragments stuck in the rad. Glad it wasn't my scoob.
