Due to the current economy and terrorist activities, car use in the US has dropped to an all time low. In response to this forecourts have reduced their prices to 68p / gallon !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scooby-doo - I think there is Bob Hope and No Hope ... however, BP dropped their prices by 2p per litre today, don't sell SUL and its not Optimax so not bothered really!!
How much is Optimax in your area? First time I put it in paid 85.9p per litre, now its 80.9p - brilliant!

Optimax at 77p - will now be 75p I guess.....competition of lots of garages keeps the price low

yup, fuel out here is currently retailing for abou $1.28 a (us) gallon.
makes me cry every time I pass a gas station.
oh, and don't get me started on house prices and mortgage rates, the USA is a silly silly place

I've noticed at my local Esso that while the headline NUL rate has come down locally to 73.9 they've kept SUL at 79.9 where it was when NUL was 77.9. Very sneaky as you don't know the price until you are at the pump.

Last time I filled up in Bracknell the shell was 73.9 NUL and 79.9 Optimax.
(They dropped the price of NUL from 75.9 by 2p but left the optimax where it was at 79.9 [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] )

I filled up at probably the same station (next to KFC) today and it was 77.9 for Optimax. Bird at checkout said it was dropped yesterday night.
