Changed my oil filter and oil yesterday and.....
it still works perfectly. Didnt disconnect the crank sensor or anything. Just drained the slightly warm oil, removed the old filter, refitted a prefilled new filter and sump plug and filled up with about 4.5 litres of halfords semi synthetic, running as smooth as

Whats the big deal? . .Did nealty the same . . . . . .Changed oiul at 5 thou with new filet . .No problem . . Running like dream . . .Engine protected . . .HAMMER away!

NO, not the LEWIS Oil Change
At long last we have driven the **** Geeks from ScoobyNet ....... hoooorah for common sense
Comma Oil + Subaru Filter = £20
LEWIS Oil Change Procedure = 20minutes
JOBS A GOOD 'UN!!
I did it on 23rd July 2005 ...... and its STILL running STRONG

Just collected my car from service at main dealer, 60k service and they use 10/40 semi synth, much the same as Halfords oil probably as they didnt say a make. Must be ok if thats what they have used all the time. Must admit I cant get overly **** about oil. Ready to get shot down in flames though

not been on for a while ,but why the f**k would you remove the crank sensor to change the oil.i will direct the answers to 2 of my mates who work for prodrive on the wrc team
