What are common issues with early 90's Sti's?

on which i had hoped to move onto this topic before someone bloody moved it (over zealous!) I wanna learn a bit about Sti's as I know bugger all about Scoobies and their engines/drivetrains etc.
What are the common issues with these cars and are there any things that should be looked out for? Do they rust, and if so where? At which point should they have a cambelt change etc....
