thats not a great deal. before the 260 Evo 8's got discontinued they were selling them new for £22999 with 3 year free servicing + warranty (max 27k miles) (and you could probably haggle to get more off even then)
i'd want to be paying much less than £17k

maybe it not a great deal mate but its just that i made a deal,i'm mr subaru,i've lost count how many times i've argued with evo drivers and the stick i've taken from them and now i may be jointing them and to be fair 4250k p/x for a r reg uk not bad trade is 3775k and what i've read on here and other sites plus in the media between the sti and the 260 says the 260 is i'm sad to say the better car.

You could undoubtedly get more for your classic private sale and get a decent '03 or '04 Sti private sale for around £15,000. Nevertheless, if you have an extra couple of grand you can easy add 100hp to the evo. Might as well enjoy it. Have they included any servicing in the deal?

to be fair i have not given up yet on subaru but i'm finding it hard to find an impreza within my budget the 2 main deals in my area are to be honest are v poor at best one is change to a different manufacturer and only got 2 or 3 cars(2 are normal wrx,1 is a uk sti),the other has only got bug-eye type uk sti.what i really want is a jdm03-05 sti because its got all the toys not the watered down ones we get here in the uk.My budget is between 13000-16500(maybe more but pushing it)would think about a uk sti on the same year but its noy really what i want, and to be honest the evo 260 is watered down evo its not has good has a mr or fq
