Oil on my driveway...
I am so p!ssed off!
We had our driveway block-paved about a year ago and it was looking great until about a month ago. I started to notice spots of oil on the driveway so we had the Scooby checked over. After getting the all-clear on our car we realised that the cleaning lady parked on our driveway every Tuesday. Sure enough, her car has been sh!ting oil all over the drive and it's made a right bloody mess.
A total of twelve blocks have been stained and as a result of them being porous, they seem to have absorbed the oil!
Does anybody know how I can clean this off? Is there some sort of liquid that will destroy the oil or cover up the blemish?
Mark.

WD40 worked for me! Spray it all over the stain, use a stiff yard brush to really get it into the stain then jetwash it away. Took me a few goes but the stain reduced each time.

Put neat Fairy Liquid on it and leave it. It should eat into the oil.
Failing this, take out the damaged blocks and replace them.
If you are too much of a numpty to manage this, pay someone to do it.
Half hour job.

Find an Air conditioning/Refrigeration wholesaler by you, there is 1 in every town. ask for Condenser coil cleaner, its cheap, and it will remove all traces of oil. I use it for everything, will get you wheels spotless 2

Turn one over and take a look at the bottom of block pavers.

I had the same problem, when my old Chavalier dumped a barrel full of oil in the garage. Someone on here suggested concrete dust, it worked a treat

Just go and buy a £5 can of 'Thomsons Driveway Cleaner' - does exactly what it says on the can!
Or if you can't be bothered with that, use white spirit and a scrbbing brush..
