Decisions decisions??
What would you do??
you've got 8k to spend would you:-
A - Do your 96 WRX up ie Engine (existing one 93000m so bigger one ???), ecu, brakes, suspension.
How far would the money go? (brakes 1000-1200, ecu+map?, Sus?, Engine get a 2.5 or recon with rebuilt or???)
or
B - Buy a newer car
Bear in mind that i'd prefer to stay with the classic shape!

Cheers for the replies peeps, not got the money just yet, just pricing up options/getting ideas, very loathed to get rid of my lil baby- i know what ive done to her and any mistreatment ;-) plus its a cracking car mechanically in all areas now. (prob totally jinxed myself now)
Emailed Andy F for costs too, plus going off subject a lil ,it looks fairly standard so doesnt attract quite so much attention out about town, if thats possible in a scoob.
Almost solved my earlier Q's eh!!
2.5 sounds like a cracking idea, and ill defo stick with the classic shape - ok not so up to date but im afraid the newer models although im sure ARE(????) better cars in general just dont flick my switch (awaiting flack) the classic shape is THE ONLY ONE for me!
A love affair my other half is coping with admirably i hasten to add.
