Hi Guys
Lookin to save up for an impreza as I love em!!
Can u guys advise me as to the best buys?
Im lookin for basically the cheapest scooby I can get really!! So an old one I guess!! Has to be a saloon one tho, as I dnt like the estates

cheap is not always best my friend. Pick up a cheap one and within days it could cost hundreads if not thousands. If you can't afford a good condition, full history etc i would stay clear.
My thoughts.....no doubt some will disagree

I agree with nik on this one.... Scoobys dont generally come cheap Im afraid, so a cheap scooby will have its issue's 
and a small engined subaru?? defeats the purpose doesn't it

buying a cheap one will be a big risk and i would not advise it at all its worth saving that little longer and get a decent example as if they go wrong its not a cheap car to put right, its not just that mate the running cost are not bad but not good either, you have got to remember the old ones are as much as 12 yrs old all i can say is if you do get one budget for some new tyres a full service and a cambelt change for some piece of mind then cross your fingers and hope nothing goes wrong whilst having loads of fun as these are great cars all the best though mate

The model I am thinking about is conservatively priced between 5,695 - £7,595 for a NEW vehicle. yes I know... that is VERY cheap for a new car, but hey that happenes when a major maunfacturer can double-up on it's manufacturing runs.
I know what your hoping, that this "subaru" will also have the blistering performance associated with it's correctly badged relatives... and you won't be disappointed. The 0-60 time is a blistering 16.3 seconds, produced by an amazing 60bhp at 6500 rpm, measured AT THE WHEELS !! All from an amazing slimmed down traditional flat4 subaru boxer running at a whole 998cc.
This helps to ensure everyone will be completely satisfied by ownership of this car.... yourself, the insurance company (Group 2), and even Tree-Huggers will love you as it will take the car a whole 6 months to put out enough exhaust fumes to kill off the rain forests of the world (55.4 mpg combined).
I'm guessing you're now screaming at me to put you out of your misery and tell you what the damn car is so you can rush out and put a deposit down (HUGE waiting list sorry).
This has to be the IDEAL first car for a potential Scooby owner worried about engine size.
