Default Buggies and imprezas

Does anyone know if a buggy / pram for a newborn will fit in the boot of a classic impreza?

Also have you got a baby / young children and an impreza as an only car?

should be ok but avoiding the obvious regarding 'depends on the size of the buggy'.

The boot is pretty big as you know, it's just the boot appature that is a problem....in front wheels first and then turn it around so wheels are left to right.

MY00/Mamas and Papas 3 in 1 something or other.

I can't get our 3 wheel buggy in the boot at all and have to resort to a small stroller.

We have a Greco 3 wheel buggie / car seat system. The car seat clips onto the buggie when the babs is under approx 9 months, thereafter you can just use the buggie and an upright seat that stays in the car.

We also have a Quinny 3 wheel buggie which fits in a lot easier.

Basically you have to take all the wheel s off which takes about 30 seconds whichever buggie you choose and it should fit.

We currently manage to fit either buggie + a stroller in for our 3 yr old, with no problems at all and some small items of shopping.

Best thing to do is get down to your nearest Mothercare superstore and try out the buggies and see which best fits your budget / car etc etc.

Good luck

Paul

Got a Wagon as main family car. 3 kids fit in it fine. I had very bad experience with a Mamas and Papas 3 in 1 when the axle snapped and my 4 month old son was in it. Fortunately I caught him before he hit the road. When I complained M&P weren't interested and said "If you don't like it take us to court" I's spent £550 too......

I used to get my mates buggy in my classic and that was a fairly chunky one, the boot opening is the imbugerance factor.

I think Halfords also do a very good service for this and will install and let you test many different tyoes of kids seat in your car.
