The shape of things to come?

You know, when I think about it I actually don't know who or what any of the political parties stand for anymore.
All I know is, if I've got it, they want a piece of it.
I'm sure the last goverment were just as bad, albeit in a completely different way.
This government came in on a tidal wave of national support.
Unfortunately, tides change and it seems this one is turning a lot quicker than anyone would have imagined.
Tides ... changing ... moon ... lunar.
Its the Lunar Left all over again!

If anyone needing convincing that Labour are anti-motorist, this should be it. I'd rather have the Monster Raving Looney party running the country.
Just wait until deaths start going *up* when everyone can't afford to speed anymore, despite the deserted roads. Once everyone starts poodling around, they will stop concentrating on their driving and mow down the millions of pedestrians clogging up the pavements. When the 55mph speed limit in the US was introduced during the 70's oil crisis, deaths on freeways went up.
I'm very very glad to have a Canadian birth certificate, 'cos I'm not going to wait around for this government do ruin the country.
Jerome.

That's it if we the British People let this s*** pass I'm moving to Australia in 10 years.
Ok the Police are complete B**stards over there, but as I will be cruising round in a convertible on my way to the beach - I won't be speeding.
Seriously though, it makes you wonder what this country is going to be able to offer people in the future - extortinate cost of living, retricted freedom of movement and whats next?
Cheers for now,
Richard

But don't you think that all the parties given half the chance would screw the motorists for extra cash. Now that Labour have done it the others have got the idea. Cheap way to add to the government's coffers.

Has anyone found out just who 'Prof Rhys' advises in parliment?
You guessed it 'Tory Boy' himself!
This is a pile of crap!
Portillo for Chancellor? - I wouldn't trust him with 20p!
Trust the Torygraph to publish this sort of twaddle!

I can't see these proposals ever being implementd.
If normal hard working people are prepared to stand up against high fuel prices, just imagine what they would be prepared to do! if this pile of cack was imposed on us.

The way they do it is to slowly bring in the policies so that we don't notice what they're doing. Also they'll disguise them as safety drives or new proposals to stop deaths on roads, so people feel unable to say anything in case they're branded as unsafe people who want people to be killed on roads.
