Never heard of him. Andrew Murray got my vote - had a great season, beat henman and took it all in his stride. Andrew (NOT Freddy) Flintoff is just a waster...So Murray for me!

Hmmm. - With the greatest respect to him, I'm not sure that the fact that the guy died is the right qualification for that award. Question is, would you have voted for him if he was still alive? - don't think so!
If you want to show respect, do something similar to the charity sticker thing for Richard Burns?

As someone else said and with deepest respect, i dont think hes a candidate just because he died. What about RB?? Sports peronality is nothing of the sort. What it really is is who is the most prominent sportsperson at the moment i.e most famous or biggest recent success. Personality doent come into it. Steve Davis won it FFS i rest my case. The vast majority of people, me included, didnt even know he existed or at least barely knew much about him as rally is a minor sport im comparison to many others and it will therefore probably be someone else in one of these high profile sports that wins. Pisshead Flintoff probably, OMG.
