Default Bodging B**tards!

This is just one of the many things we find on scoobs brought into the clinic.

This is a picture of a brand new mod we have never seen before, can you guess what it is??

It's a bespoke leaking rocker gasket drainage system!

As you can see this has been fabricated from something slightly thicker than baco foil.

You can see in the design how little flanges have been hammerd into it to divert the oil away from the exhaust system leaving the driver totally unaware that he has a major oil leak and some roman aquaducting fitted to his car!

The thing that makes us laugh the most is the time and effort that went into this would of been better spent replacing the gasket correctly in the first place!

Some people eh!

Looks like a piece of printing plate to me I have fabricated similar devices to catch and drain away water from faulty air conditioning units before now And one of the best uses was to create a shelf in a plate oven (5' tall but only 6" wide) to cook mini frozen pizzas on night shift

This mod is usually fitted just above the turbo not only to stop oil dripping onto turbo, but when a small family size chicken is placed on tray a trip of about 200 miles will find the chicken just about cooked and well baisted.

On a more positive note, it shows that good old British ingenuity and engineering is still alive

Can't see the problem, nice bit of panel beating that, you should tell kev to take him on in the body shop.
