Cool I just bought my first Scooby!

Hi there. I've just bought my first Scooby. Always had Cossies till now! I'm loving it tho you'll be pleased to hear!!!

Quick question. It's a '93 WRX Type RA. Very nice and quick. Only thing I'm not sure about is that it's not got the plastic skirts on the sides and the bottom of the rear bumper. Is this normal for a Type RA or should it have them on?

Thanks
Dave

Christ, we're not going to be able to MOVE for '93 WRXs at this rate.

Remember to run it on super/optimax and octane booster!!! unless you want a nice bill for an engine
knocklink and sensors can be obtained from Bob Rawle Developements, a must for a JDM car

Yep, I have just bought a 93 WRX too, about a month ago. Always been into Fords and VXs, mainly Mk2 Escorts though. I am running mine on Optimax+booster and it still detonates at times - want to get it remapped but not sure of anywhere in Yorks area that could do it. How long does it take to get it remapped BTW ?

My car apparently has a scoobyecu or something that's been mapped for Optimax already so should be ok hopefully!

Thanks for all the welcomes!!!

I've had Escort 4x4 Stage 2 (300hp) and Stage 1 4x4 Saph and standard 2wd Saph and they were all lovely thanks but the WRX is a drivers car that makes me grin every time I floor it!!! Well impressed by it!

Any more comments on the skirts - think I'll leave it with out them to keep it original if that's the way it should be.

Cheers everyone!

Id still put octane booster in there, plus fit a knocklink and sensor, shows if you get any det on a bad tank of fuel
