Question 2000 W , WRX Type RA - HOW GOOD ARE THEY?

Hi People, Looking to get a Impreza again, and am looking at a WRX Type RA 1 of 1000 Made (No.342 I think) , with 20,000 Miles from new. Oh its a Jap Import as well, so 280BHP

Is this a good model to go for , or should i go for a sti 7 standard,

Its In sonic Blue, with Lovely 17" Gold rims, Big blue mud flaps and nice exhaust, Should be able to get it for about £9000 - £9500.

The ra will be quicker but the sti will have more toys in it.
It really depends what you want from the car

As leon said, it depends what toys that were ordered when new. 20k is particularly low mileage, try to ascertain that they haven't all been track miles. Lots of info here.

Best of luck

Personally id go for the RA as toys, gagets and stuff dont interest me. I bought my RA because i wanted a car that was quick as standard (although it never stayed standard for long) and pretty much basic apart from the elec windows and abs

Yes 4ndy doin well, still getting used to that power delivery, especially mid corner with diff open, need a few more driving hours before taking on the m3 csl.......i,m pretty sure i,ll keep up with him though....

Suspension coming off in a couple of weeks so wont be needing nut till then...
