Just got a wrx 95 import a week ago and first of all had it a good major service. The only thing to come out of it was the fuel gauge was not working correctly. The garage looked at the 2 senders in the boot and said that the car must have been sat for a long time with no fuel , and therefore condensation had built up and left a film of rusty ****e . They recommended a new fuel tank but then the mechanic said with the car being used reg, it should clean itself out. This week after 2 full tanks the gauge seems to be ok any body else had any problems similar.
