Is £6000 enough for a My99 turbo 2000 ?
the sale of my current car is looking to be WAY below what I had hoped for leaving me to struggle with 6k for the new one.
Am I kidding myself?

The dealer said any mint Mk1 (Classic to you and me) Scoob will hold its value...
does the face lift count as a model upgrade?

Don't forget that buying it is one thing running it is another. You must put aside money for the high insurance costs, servicing, fuel etc...

I know, I've got a Sport at the moment and unless things go wrong its not that far off the turbo running costs, fuels not cheap and services well, £450 at the Subaru Dealer ship and thats with nothing wrong found! The insurance is £400 a year more with the turbo than my Sport and thats not taking into account I'm half way through my 3rd year NC.
So Long as I'm careful I can run it and I think it'll be worth the extra £100 a month or so.. am I wrong ?
