Anyone's paintwork feel 'grainy'?
Hello jello!
Ive come to clean my car a few times and the paint work feels like its got some kind of very fine 'grain' all over it!
My GF's golf is the same (apparently Mustard... yeah, Mustard gets rid of this, but im not putting mustard on my scoob!!)
Has anyone had the same thing, and does anyone have any suggestions of what might get rid?
I thought about purchasing a steamer cleaner thing, but dont know if it will damage it or what to get.
Thanks!
Adam.

before you spend £££ go get some meguires clay bar, think it costs about a tenner.
after using that your paintwork should feel like glass.
I get the grainy feeling on my car, purely because its parked under a fkoff huge tree all day.

Meguairs clay kit would probably do the job. Gets all the oxidents/tree sap/ general carp that sits on the paint off by spraying the paint with the supplied liquid then rubbing the clay over the paint - do a serch on it in here and you will find loads of info on it
