QU: Does anyone know if any of the Scottish Subaru dealers are prepared to haggle a little on MY00 prices?
From this BBS, I seem to recall some folks down south getting pretty reasonable discount off current list price. I’m seriously considering selling (may be trading in?) my MY98 before residuals start to go through the floor

Seriously, you'll take a hit either way. All residual values have been effected, so you're screwed if you keep your current car, trade it in or purchase a brand new one.
Just enjoy what you have; and spend the money you save on some AP's!

Rich - Nobles... hmmm. I'll probably pop down this weekend, but to be frank I just don't like that dealership's attitude of "We're the best, we'll badmouth everyone else at every opportunity". Even if they did offer me a discount I'd be tempted to take my business elsewhere.

No, that's not me (but there are two silver MY99's in the SQ area). Mine is a blue MY98, large GGR spoiler, gold 17" wheels, and an extra set of lamps hidden behind the grill.

I'm one of the silver MY99's .I'm sure I've seen you about..I'm fairly near the station..you too ? Car sounded pretty good the other weekend when I passed..exhaust mods obviously?

Yes, I'm fairly near the station too (within spitting distance).
Exhaust mods... yes - downpipe, backbox, and ITG airfilter all courtesy of Scoobysport (burble, burble ).

KH on the 6th Oct... I thinks so! I'm sure I asked JohnS to put my name down a while back - I better contact him to see if I've got a place. Even if I don't I'll probably go along just for the "atmosphere" (smell of frying brakes!).

Edinburgh in the evening to SQF?
I am a MY99 T-reg DBM 4 door with gold wheels
who goes the other way (work at Agilent
with ColinU). I think we may have waved
a few times????
