Same copper twice in a week
For my number plate.
Its been on the car for the last two years without an issue and within a week the same copper has stopped me twice. The font is correct the plate is the right size, one letter is on the wrong side of the space though. I cant believe how petty they can be. The plate is much more readable than as standard.
I used to go to school with the brainless copper, who this time had to drive a couple of hundred yards so he could turn round, race down the street and stop me. Told him the correct plate was on order and that I still had time to change it from the last offence.
He reminded me I used to go to school with him and I recognised him. I can only say I wished I gave him a hiding back then as he obviously has his eyes peeled for me now.
Jobsworth, waste of space, boring span javelin.
I know what im doing is illegal but does it really warrant him doing 50 or more through a 30mph limit to catch up with me?
Dicks like that give the policeforce a bad name.

No idea Simon. First time he stopped me by the golf course. He was in a fiesta. Then today he was going the other way in Ludgershall in a Maverick or some such thing.
He was very pleased within himself today and told me he had 3 more the night he got me. A few mins later he was probably parked on the double yellows outside the chinky getting his tea.

Micky, what's your problem, are you a policeman or something?
Police should find better things to do than pull people over for ****ty offences like that, it isn't causing anybody an harm and as long as its readable what's the problem!
Gary, you sure you haven't ****ed his missus and he found out? haha

Thats just the point, it's not readable by the latest plate recognition systems and scameras. For these to work, the spacing has to be as laid out in the number plate construction regs. hence Plod has got the hump
