How much?

I can see lots of kids getting these as presents from their dads.... and then the dad's mates turn up for a surprise visit.

You can also buy just the blue car, got mine from Toys R Us but it is a bit pricey at 20 or 25 quid I think.

I used my scooby as my wedding car and upon arriving at the reception to have the obligatory cake photos taken, I was most impreseed to see that on cake number 2 (I don't like fruitcake so I have choclate cake - which judging by there being none left at the end of the day, so did everybody else), I had a WRC scooby where you should have bride and groom figures. Well cool.
cheers

i asked my Mum+Dad 4 the WRC collectors edition car No.5 Burns/Reid for Christmas
and got car No.6 Kankkunen/Repo for my B-Day in May.
Hope they will go up in price over the years, as they will stay in the their boxes! Not that I will sell them!!

Wink

Okay - did go out and buy it today (£79.99 from Argos). Guy behind me in Argos commented that someone must be getting a good birthday present. Had to admit that it was for us, with big grin on face - "cool" he said, my mate's got one as well!

We've had the best afternoon's racing - sideways round the bends, throwing the back out, rolling it without harm, screaming down the straights. Who needs housework???

Sounds like an average Clang-n-ball run

Me too (well OK, there was a Bentley S2 as well)

The trouble is you don't realize how steeply raked the windscreen is until you try to attach the white ribbon. It's clearly designed to go on a 1903 Rolls with an upright windscreen, as it's no more than a few inches above the bonnet/windscreen all the way up.

BTW Scooby Scalextric was in the Argos catalogue the Christmas before last (i.e. 1998) but unfortunately neither of our kids wanted Scalextric

Love the silver WRC

Carl (Silver MY00)
