Cool

Probebly with that sort of money, something like this
http://www.linney.org/1995purplefieldgtrv33.htm

Personaly speaking ofcourse because ive just bought one
You could then spend some of the rest of the money on some bigger injectors, a pair of HKS turbo's, an ECU, pluss some mapping and 500+bhp could be yours
OR-
You could afford a much later one!

Forget Liverpool vic and Norwich union direct, A-Plan and/or Osbourne & Sons are the people to speak to regarding these now.

mmmmm, the above would more than likely beat Tesco although i supose you would probebly still be looking at a couple of grand.
Maybe worth giving them a try though, nothing ventured, nothing gained and all that, you never know.

Sorry, I missed your later post, and I didn't realise this was to replace your current car.

Whatever you choose, it will need to one hell of a car to justify that type of insurance cost. If it's not a factor; great, enjoy it for all it's worth.

Think I'd go for something a bit mad - say S2 Elise fitted with HondaK20A engine - supercharged to give you 300 bhp and 210 lb/ft torque. Bring on your mr 340

I had a p1 for 4 years and in the end i didnt drive it much, less than 500 miles in the last 6 months. I didnt know what to buy, but in the end I went for a 22b. Cant get myself out of it now! Even though the power is the same. Cant expalin it, its a very special thing being able to drive a 22b. Take one out for a drive and youll know what i mean
