Hey everyone...
I've just had trouble trying to find some petrol and have spent half an hour driving around various places until I could get some. I live in Worcester, which as far as I was aware isn't one of the affected areas!
Thing is...I'm due to travel to Bingley (North of Bradford) for a job interview on Thursday, dans la Scoobo, and wondered whether I'm going to get fuel to get me back??
What's the score?
Cheers,
Squizz.

Bad news unfortunately. The situation is already bad in Cheshire and getting worse by the day!!
One good point though,I filled the scoob the other day at a garage with a huge que for the pumps.Much to my delight I could bypass said que as I was filling with SUL and no one else seemed to want it,I still got several dirty looks for jumping the que though.
GOOD LUCK THOUGH.

There's rationing at some shell stations in York, according to Radio 1 news. I live in Leeds and filled up today with no troubles, though when I asked I was told that their tanks are getting empty...

Hi All,
As of about 8pm this evening, the Shell garage on the A38 in Worcester (near the Chinese) still has loads of SUL.
Chatting to the girl in there (she is quite tasty) she told me that it was bonkers earlier with loads of people coming in and filling up.
She reckoned they had about 1300 litres of UL left but still had about 4000 litres of SUL.
She also said that their normal delivery may be a day or so late because their local tankers are being diverted further afield.
So I managed to squeeze some of that SUL in
Squizz, I guess for Bradford and back, you'll have to be very careful, but wouldn't advise buying a load of plastic tanks and have them rolling about full in the boot.
Cheers
Ian
P.S. Hope this is sorted by next weekend, as I'm off on my hols.

I've just been to fill up and the police are saying that there is only one or two places still open up here in West Cumbria. They reckon its gonna be dried up by midmorning tomorrow.

I live in North Wales and work in Chester. In my desperate attempts to find fuel this morning, all bar two had run out (and I pass alot of stations on the way to work and even detoured to find some today) of unleaded SUL and DERV. I was lucky to get a tankful of SUL this morning after a long queue.
Looks like 56 MPH all the way home then..... (no comments blubs and Maxwell)

I'd imagine we used most of it over the weekend during our "Midlands Camping Weekend" ... It seeded like it ... We did have to 'q' at a few stations and we did hear they were limiting you to £5's worth at some stations ..

I have heard that on the M62 and M1 there will be complete blockades from 4:00pm and 8:00pm going from woolley edge on the M1 and on the M62 from Hearts head moor. Definately avoid.

Update from Leeds. Hohoho, we're running out. Queues are mad in the city centre at the moment (14:00 on Monday). Local radio saying that many places only have LRP available. Report from Halifax and Bradford paints similar picture.
Unless the blockades shift, you'd be knackered coming tomorrow, let alone Thursday.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I was due to go to Milton Keynes tomorrow, but that isn't happening as I've enough to get down there, but the thought of being stranded in MK: <shudder>

Seems to be getting worse - most places in the Bournemouth area, as of this lunchtime seem to be closing . At last count there was only 2 left open in the immediate area!!

Buying petrol in Aylesbury was nuts tonight. Some places (like Keith's) restricting sales to account holders only etc. Jet between Stoke Madeville and Terrick had a tanker load this evening although there was a queue at 5.15pm

Hope things don't take too long too run their course - in about 2 weeks my new Scoob is delivered to Liverpool, I'd hate to have to push it all the way to Stranraer that pass on the M6 will be a ba5tard
