cooltek wrap/burning smell

Default cooltek wrap/burning smell

hi all,
just a bit of kwik advice,wrapped the new dp in cooltek wrap yesterday,is it usual to have a burning smell for a while untill it settles in???

any advice??

yes thats normal. the wrap has to cure the first time it is heated, usually smokes a bit as well.

top man was worried for a mo that the de-cat had fkd something up and id blown a seal somewhere and was leaking oil!!!
