2.This may seem a studid question but y do you have to use super unleaded is it to do with the turbo....coz mine eats fuel

Hi scooby 123 ,the oil you refer to can be used if your just pottering around,, but you will find a lot of scooby owners use fully synthetic ! for example mobil 1 15w 40 ,do a search on oil and take a look......

most of the time silkolene pro r 15w50 or mobil1 motorsport 15w50,also tried millers 10w60.

I would recommend a good quality fully synthetic such as Millers, Motol 300V or Silkolene ProS over a mineral oil with high ester content like Magnatex. Has your imported WRX STi been remapped for UK fuel ? If not, you'd better get it done sooner rather than after the £4k engine rebuild Most Jap imports run on SUL/'max plus OB to try and match the 100RON Jap fuel, but ultimately you need to remap the engine to use our 98RON, loosing some power, but gaining not having to rebuild. I'd also consider fitting a Knocklink to keep an eye on the potential failure waiting to happen.

Nothing else decent available in my neck of the woods on a Sunday morning.

Only used Silkolene and Mobil previously.
