WRX + PPP = pants!
Posted earlier about times I recorded in JDM WRX - some replies seemed to suggest they weren't realistic. Well - I have just had to run down to local IT supplier and on the way I had a run in with WRX with PPP. I pulled up on the outside of him at lights and he launched like a looney on amber. I waited for green and not wanting to fry my clutch, gently rolled before blatting after him. By the time I hit third gear I was already 5 or 6 lengths ahead of him. I could tell he was trying because he was all red in the face and looked cross! Now who dares to doubt me - proof of the pudding and all that!
It is obvious that whatever the book figures are for my car - they are totally undercooked - it rocks! Watch out Sti + PPP!

Yeah it was quick thinking about it - had lots of mods including green filter and dump valve - must have put it in the 360bhp bracket - and it was lighter too - didn't even have a stereo in it. Still don't regret getting rid of it - the WRX is more comfortable and has a CD player - if it gets to 60 in the early 4's I am well happy!
