Guide price 1994 STi Type RA
Hi,
I am thinking of selling my scooby. It is a 1994 STi Type Ra. jsut wondered if anyone could give me some idea to the price I should ask for it. It is red, usual Tye ra spec, high level spoiler, stainless exhaust all the way through, gold alloys, good tires, years Mot, turbo timer.
Any ideas?
If anyone wants to E mail me regarding the car feel free mrsage@btinternet.com

I sold my 1995 STi RA in February for £6,250 and it was not in as good condition as some of the Imprezas I have seen (even the 10 year old ones).
Car was showing 53,000 km, but the clock had been changed and the car could have done with a respray as it had only been imported to the UK in October 2004 and was showing some battle scars, but saying that I put it in the Autotrader (Midlands) and sold it 48 hours later.
I am still getting calls this week asking if it is for sale.

These cars are very rare and hold their price, if it has DCCD ask for £5.5k - £6.5k depending on mileage and condition

Thanks for the replies chaps, it has done 55,000miles. The car is in good condition, drives like a new car, minor cosmetics as I would expect on any car of this age. I am going to get the bits done and put it up for around the £6750 mark? I am in Ashford in Kent.

Id agree with your valuation; this made to special order car is extremely rare and the **** poor residuals of '94 WRXs shouldnt affect its value as much as people are suggesting. This doesnt mean that you will be able to find someone who knows what its worth and will pay it though.....

Hi Adam
I have a real nice white WRX-RA, 08.93 build in spanking condition, not covered many miles.
Recent engine build/replacement by RCM, plus lightened & balanced flywheel, comp clutch, big system, inc down pipe,Big Brakes, Matt Black five spokes & Yoko's plus many other serviceable bit's & pieces, it looks the biz Still having its original look.
Less than a 1000 miles since engine build back in July 04, still need to have boost increased after bed-in period, covers no more than 1500k per year, its a minter & quick as sh-t
No idea what its worth, any ideas....

Two reasons; there are far more Imprezas for sale than there are buyers and secondly; most prospective Impreza buyers will have no idea at all what this is, so itll just look like an expensive 12 year old import.
