I love the place. It's probably my favorite city in the world, but they realy hammer the motorist!

As you can see from the article the taxes applied to cars is astonishing, making even something akin to a civic cost £30k on the road. Yet everyone seems to have one.

Did anyone remember seeing the Top Gear where 'Stiff Noodle' visited Singapore and took a look at the road legal Porche GT1 which the owner couldn't drive because LHD cars aren't allowed on the roads there!

PS Saw the pix of the Electra when they were posted months ago, and I simply can't beleive the price. With that design and price I assume they at least throw in a baseball cap. Real Max Power stuff!
