Hey, leave the poor guy alone, it probably took him a long time to correctly space and case that username.

Yeah but you lose your post count and all your subscriptions.
Thats quite a big loss - i've been after changing mine but had no luck.

heple1983 you dont lose anything you just gain another identity. Your post count and subscriptions are still at your old identity and subscriptions will expire anyway.
Gives you a chance to be an untouched virgin "newbie" again
Further more neither you nor STi have any subscriptions as far as i can see.

I've got over 100 subscriptions but changing my name isn't really a big deal it would just be nice you could easily do it.

When you create / reply to a thread you (if set up) subscribe to it then recieve e-mails when someone else replys.

Yes, but that will still apply even if you have two screen names. The e mail notification will still come through because the previous identity still exists on the system. I guess then you have a choice of which screen names you reply with.
However, these threads have a lifetime over which they rarely go, its only on the odd occasion that anyone digs up a thread from 2-3 years ago and then only cause they used search and thought it was still current info.
Once you make a new identity then start using it, it rapidly becomes your main identity, just as if you moved house/remarried/new scoob etc.
