Question Does the current STI have folding rear seats?

I'm looking into going back the Subaru way (after 6 veats riding Scoobies and then 3 years with a BMW 330 Ci, nice car but no Scooby) and was just wondering if the new STI has folding rear seats (standard or optional) as I could really use those to get my bike into the back.

Also has anyone pics of a leather interior?

Cheers!

Dan

No, it only has a folding section to put ski's/poles/ long thin stuff through. You'd probably be better of buying an WRX wagon and having the prodrive performance pack installed. Makes it as fast as a standard STI, but has more flexibility in luggage configurations.

Default Thanks guys...

But I'd rather not go for a wagon, too much of a family car look to me

The folding section will help, won't be able to put my bike in the trunk but I guess I can always install a detachable tow bar with a bike rack.

either that or you can change your 330ci for the convertible one and put the bike on the rear seats when the roof is down. I do

Why not? I can get may lad's trials MTB in mine with the large side of the seats folded down, or my own MTB. If I take whhels out, I can get two in on top of one another

Don't do that until you've tried them inside. Tow bars aren't cheap, esp the detachable ball type, and the racks for them are awful: the worst type for fuel consumption (Which? magazine), and cause damage to bikes as they knock against the rack or each other, and, if you're unlucky, the car too.
