Exclamation Drive safely out there peeps!!

A word of warning to all, with the cold weather snaps that we are having, so far have claimed 2 lives around here (car lost control coming off a slip road onto the motorway), plus ive seen one accident today and one on xmas eve.
Take it easy, 4wd or not, its better to get though the xmas season than be in hospital for it (or worse )
So enjoy the festive season and take into consideration the conditions

Have a good one!

GOOD ADVICE...I nearly got hit by a car today. The driver lost control trying to stop and her back end pulled out just about swerved to avoid her. Why do the toerag Manchester City Council grit the road?!!! What do I pay my Council Tax for?!!!

The 2 people killed were on the M66 near Bury on Xmas day and the accident i saw today was in stockport, you would have thought that seeing one side of the road was covered in snow that the muppet would have stuck to the side that wasnt but.....
Good job that woman didnt hit you, too much hassle at this time of year for accidents and your right about the gritters, they should be out doing their job.

Tony

I was on my way to work to Rochdale on Xmas day when we were stopped by traffic police on the M60 (short stretch) from Manchester to get onto the M62 to Rochdale. Its must have been a bad one because they closed the whole Motorway are we talking about the same one.

Makes me so mad about the Gritters. Most side roads are like ice rinks. It is very sad to hear about deaths on the road especially when the roads are so quiet.

I was coming back that way on xmas day also (been round a friends the night before) and the M/way was closed by the M62 so needed to go though rochdale to get home.
My brother in law is a paramedic, he saw the accident from the other direction and said that it looked like a fatality from the damage to the car

Agree. Roads around me were fine until I down into a low dip where there must have been ice. Slid a bit.
