Newbie - hello all
Hi there
I'm a new member. Just put down a deposit on an R calalunya so thought I'd better register and start learning.
The car has 79K miles with FDSH and has a mint interior and excellent exterior with only one little dent. There's one query that I have re the clutch and have posted in the relevant forum.
Looking forward to being in the 'empty pockets' club.
It's a great site that you have here

Welcome aboard!
Empty pockets is about right. Add disgruntled partner and mystified friends too!
A Scooby is a high maintenence mistress, but worth it! :-)
If your query is about clutch judder when cold, don't worry, everyone finds that disconcerting at first, they all do it! Should go away after a few minutes driving though!
Best wishes

Welcome aboard ... personally I'm embarassed at the lack of welcomes so far, this post has been up for well over an hour and I'm the second* to respond?!?! For shame
As to the 'empty pockets': it's all a matter of self control ... uh-oh
*damn ... missed first now

Many thanks to you all for the warm welcome I'm glad to be aboard.
Should get the car early next week; recently converted from Vauxhall after what seems a lifetime of gsi's and sri's. Can't wait - the rather long test drive I insisted on left me with a big grin.
Had been looking for a standard my97/98 scooby saloon for a while, but none were right then this ltd edition turned up almost on my doorstep.
Cheers
