I've now got my WRX test drive sorted (my dealer didn't have an STi). Apparently the dealers have had so many test drive requests that they've had to alter what happens a bit. From what my dealer said I think they've had to weed out some of the free-loaders by making initial appointments rather than promising a 24 hour test drive to people they've never met, which makes sense as I bet there are some test pilots about!

I'm now booked for a full test drive next week, accompanied by the dealer, but they've told me that if I'm really interested I'll get the car for a whole day (they want a deposit though ). I'm going for it....can't wait! So it might be bye bye to the old Sport at last!

I think SUK have put new details on their website but haven't had chance to look yet.

PS Don't tell the missus!

My dealer had one there when first went and my mate went out in it. Said it had loads of room and went like a train.

Booked for Tuesday and hope I can have it for full day after that. Classic will be for sale if I go for it, no mods. Maybe let dealer have it!

To get a test drive just ring nearest dealer or go on SUK website www.subaru.co.uk

and fill in form under extended test drive. Go for it!
