att. 18 inchers
im thinking of fitting a set of 18" wheels soon, im curreuntly running on 17s with 205/45 tyres, giving a nice comfortable ride. the roads where i live are pretty crap and full of bloody potholes, what sort of difference in ride am i looking at with 18s wearing 35 profile tyres?
any advice?

I'm running 18" OZ P-WRC1's with 225/40/18 Goodyears. The ride quality isn't any worse than my original RB5 17" Speedlines on smooth tarmac, but you do feel any big bumps a lot more. Potholes would be a nightmare.
Road noise is a bit more exagerated on rough surfaces too. Can't say it's really bad and I spend most of my weekends around single track roads in Scotland trying to bag some more munros.
It will lower the life of your OE suspension. I haven't fitted my replacement P1 suspension and although my original dampers (Eibach springs) had some life in them they've been desimated over the past few months since fitting my new wheels.
Mike Wood from Prodrive warned me beforehand that fitting 18's to a classic needed the suspension beefed up.
