Laptop screen xga/sga/vsxga??? (and a tablet question!)

T4210 Tablet PC - about to order one of these, only just out over here!

Only down side i see on some US reviews is the screen is XGA and not SVGAX or something? is that a big deal? the reviews all say the screen looks great so should i worry?

also- its a 12 incher.....anyone use tablets because i'm wondering if a 14 incher would be easier to write on? i will only ever use it on a desk or lap so dont mind carrying a heavier unit around....just wondered if 12 inches is big enough to jot away on?

I have a Dell Lattitude D610 with an SXGA screen, and I have an Acer Tablet PC with an XGA screen

To be honest the screen on the Tablet is ok, but im so used to using the Dell with 1400 x 1050 resolution, and not the paltry 1024 x 768 resolution on the tablet PC

The screen on the Acer is ok for jotting on, but ive only really used it to let the kids do some doodling, and the odd bit of messing about

I much prefer my Dell
