Someone stole my front number plate
Someone has taken the number plate from the front of my impreza. Do I need to report it to the Police, incase someone uses it for any illegal purpose.
They left the rear plate though which I thought would be more useful.

BEWARE...
"Can be" the first step when attempting to nick a car...
Maybe extra security over the next couple of weeks "would" be wise.

Don't think so. It was on pretty good. Always a possibility though.
However I have now reported it to the police. There is a downside; the police will now stop all blue subarus with the reg. I have one. So I believe I may be getting a lot of police attention now.

I have heard of people taking number plates in order to steal petrol, the police would then go through the CCTV and see your plate.
I think that's most likely but I'd report it all the same.
