Swings & roundabouts tbh.
Uk is properly spec'd for our market
JDM will require a remap for the fuelling as jap fuel is 100 Ron & our best is optimax at 98ish Ron, this may already have been done though.
Uk Standard are 212bhp IIRC
JDM from 260bhp & upwards dependant on what model your after
Basically its a question of how strong do you like your tea
Anything else

right here goes
1. insurance-get quotes
2. look at a lot of cars
3. get it up on a ramp and look for obvious overspray indicating a bumped car
4. look for recently replaced tyres or badly alligned wheels-indicating vigorous driving or track use
5. i went for an import as there didnt seem to be much difference in price and the spec was way better
im selling my 96 wrx silver 45k if your interested..............

I am 35 with 7yrs no claims and pay £700 fully comp with protected bonus, which I think is pretty good (Liverpool and Victoria).
A classic UK is group 17, while an import is 20.

If you would like the spec and some pics of mine, let me know... e-mail as follows: adeel_max10@hotmail.com
1995 WRX, tasteful mods... nothing to the engine though... I have the original Jap service history and I have had it for 3 years this month...
I'm based in London...
